Scott Brown Raises $3.4 Million:
Sen. Scott Brown, R-Mass., raised a hefty $3.4 million during the first quarter of the year and ended the period with $15 million in the bank.
The campaign notes that about 71 percent of his total number of contributions from the quarter came from within the Bay State. Brown's total represents a slight uptick from the previous quarter, when he took in $3.28 million.
His likely Democratic opponent, consumer advocate Elizabeth Warren, has yet to release her complete first quarter haul -- but she announced raising $2.5 million from Massachusetts residents alone, so her total is likely to trump Brown's.
