Heinrich Raises $490K:
The Senate campaign of Rep. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., reported raising $490,000 during the first three months of year, ending the quarter with $1.55 million in the bank.
The amount was close to what the congressman raised the previous quarter, when he took in $483,000.
Heinrich's campaign noted that 73 percent of the contributions came from New Mexico.
Heinrich is the first candidate in the New Mexico Senate race to announce his first quarter fundraising numbers. In past quarters he has outraised his Democratic primary opponent, Auditor Hector Balderas, as well the as likely GOP nominee, former Rep. Heather Wilson.
