Antenori has yet to file with FEC, campaign claims technical difficulties.

Though ex-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords's (D) CD was renumbered AZ-02 in redistricting, the special election will take place in the current CD, the old AZ-08.
The FEC "still has no record" of AZ Sen. Frank Antenori’s (R) "campaign finance report — four days after the deadline. Antenori is the only one of the five candidates" in the AZ-08 special election "that doesn’t have a report on the FEC website of how much he raised and spent through March."
Antenori spokesperson Brett Mecum "said" April 5 "the campaign intened to file by that night’s deadling. When the report was still AWOL" April 9 "Mecum said they had been trying to upload it to the FEC website...but it wasn’t working." Mecum: “We’ve attempted to file since Thursday. We’re ahead of the deadline.” He said "because of the glitch, he would email the report to the press within an hour, but as of 2:30 p.m. it still hadn’t arrived, and campaign representatives could not be reached."
Ex-Giffords aide Ron Barber (D), radio announcer Dave Sitton (R) and '10 nominee Jesse Kelly(R) "submitted their filings to the FEC prior" to the April 5 deadline. Ret. Air Force pilot Martha McSally (R) "filed hers early" on April 6.
FEC spokeswoman Judith Ingram "said if a candidate raises less than" $50K, "the campaign does not have to file electronically and can submit the report in writing. When that occurs, the report takes longer to appear on the FEC website" (McCombs, Arizona Daily Star, 4/9).
McSally "pulled in nearly" $87K "from 135 donors who gave $200 or more, with 57 percent of that total coming from outside" of AZ. "McSally raised another" $41.4K "from an unknown amount of donors who gave less than $200." She had "raised nearly" $15K "from people who are in or are retired from the military, work in the defense industry or have family members in the military." McSally also "received" $4.5K from PACs, with $1K "each from the committees" Reps. Billy Long(R-MO) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV). NM SEN candidate/ex-Rep. Heather Wilson (R) "donated $500" (McCombs, Arizona Daily Star, 4/10).
