Cherny raises $430K in quarter.

Cherny (D)
raised more than $430K since entering the race for new CD, and his campaign
will report more than $390K CoH at the end of the first quarter. Cherny:
"We have a long way to go, but I'm honored that so many people are excited
about joining our campaign to save the middle class."
60% of
Cherny's contributions "are smaller dollar contributions and more than
two-thirds are from within" AZ, according to a release.

Scott:
"Given the head start of our primary opponents and the limited amount of
time we had, we anticipate we'll be outraised in the first quarter of the
campaign. But we do believe the momentum in this campaign is certainly on our
side" (release, 4/4).
