Alan Grayson's war:
It's another big fundraising quarter for former Florida Rep. Alan Grayson, who announced on Tuesday that he had raised more than $500,000 during the first three months of the year. The smashmoth liberal has taken in more than $1.6 million in his comeback bid.
But Grayson will need every buck he can get - he's facing a potentially serious race against Osceola County Commission Chairman John Quiñones, a Republican who entered the race this week.
The newly-drawn, Orlando-area 8th district is heavily Democratic, but it's also more than 40 percent Hispanic - meaning Quinones could make inroads against Grayson, who is white.
